I am your Flag
Betsy Ross was my mother
I was born out of dreams to be free
I flew over Fort McHenry in 1814.
Since then I have flown over
Thousands of Military bases
And outpost Around the world.
I fly over the Capitol and goverment
Buildings,town squares, post officers churches
And schools. and patriotic homes.
I have marched in many parades.
I honor our American Heroes by flying
High over them while are in theit internal sleep
My saddest time is when I came home
Draped over a fallen Hero's casket
I mourn for his loved ones
I have been shot, bombed, burned, dragged
In protest of war
I 'v been Stomped on and cursed
, I'm faded and tattered
But I'm still the living symbol
of a free nation.
I hope you will help keep my
Memories alive
God Bless you, and God Bless America
